What is Fayette Career Link JOBS Expo?

The sole purpose of the Fayette Career Link JOBS Expo is to provide job seekers and/or high school students the opportunity to gather in one central location and meet with employers who have jobs, internships, post high school opportunities or positions that need to be filled within the coming year and/or acquire information about degrees or certificates available at higher educational institutions.

When is the event?

Wednesday, April 23, 2008, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Where is the event?

Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus, is located along Route US 119, between Uniontown and Connellsville, Pennsylvania (approximately 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh). We are... the blue dot on the map. You can get directions from here.

Is there anything special I should do to prepare for the job fair?

Dress professionally, as if you were going on an interview
Take several copies of your resume, employers will not be accepting applications.
Attend a workshop offered at the CareerLink or Affiliates

If you are a student or alumni of participating schools, make an appointment at Career Services and they will assist you with a resume.
If you don't have a resume, go to the Career Link office located on Route 40 (turn left across from the Holiday Inn) and they will assist you.

Do I need to register?

Pre-registration is suggested to guarantee a directory.

Is there a fee for job seeker?

The job fair is FREE to job seekers

What employers will be there?
